This is essay has been a really interesting to look into and
research. I found it interesting as it affects everyone in the world, and there
are so many different ways you could look at the question. Before starting the
essay I always believed the brands wears us but I didn’t understand why. But
from writing this essay I have a better understanding why we buy into brands.
The essay question is always an exciting topic to talk about and had many good conversations
with Amber my tutor on this topic. I think the reason why I enjoyed writing
this essay this year is because of the question and how open and interesting it
is. Also going to the Supreme drop was a great way to prove that the brand is
wearing us, also making the research part more exciting. I feel with this essay
I achieved at answering the question and I feel I have put a lot of effort into
this, spending hours and hours reading and changing and thinking about what I’m
writing. This year COP has been enjoyable and this subject I would like to continue
looking into and maybe try and find away to include it in extended practice. Possibly
looking into another brand.
