From working on some of the page i started to feel that the pages aren't that exciting and that the images could be improved a lot more and made a lot more exciting. I got the new issue os street dreams magazine and it was full of full bleed images and i was really impressed by it. It made the page exciting and really impressive, as soon as i saw this i had to make some changes and so image that are full bleed. When i made the changes to a couple it instantly improved the page and it also allowed me to be even more creative with images spread over two pages and quotes over the images. its what i needed to do to make this an exciting magazine. this also made each of the page different from one another.
At Christmas i revised the Cereal city guide the London issue. when looking through the publication it had images really small big enough to see but it create a really nice white boarder with a lot of white space. this really caught my eye. this was another change that had to made. i felt some of the portraits made smaller would really improve the image a catch the readers attention.
When making them changes and looking in the Cereal publication it made me realise that this magazine doesn't need to be loud and in your face it should has elements that are so simple and plan. this is shown in the layout above. this page had a lot of change happen to it from being really busy to straight forward and simple. that want i begin to notice when looking through my work questioning my self and saying 'Do i really need that' stripping elements away improve it a lot.
