OUGD501 - Context of Practice 2 bottle design

For bottle label i used elements from Jo Malone and Chanel to create my design, The label came out really well the combination of the typefaces work great together and the logo also works with the type and the look very high end, i kept the design simple similar to Chanel as it works for them. Having the less important things in grey really help it from during your eyes from the logo and text. I did a test print on the chosen sock its a thin paper which is slightly off white. the print wasn't good but it gave me a idea of the sizes and layout when its on the bottle. The layout work really and the type was legible. For the final print i printed it off in the print room the outcome was a lot stronger and bold. using the some of the elements from perfume brands has really helped my brand look like a actual produced the outcome look high-end and work well on the bottle. The bottle shape is rectangle from talking to males and females about what shape they think would be the best they said square and rectangle. also from looking at unisex perfume bottles they are mostly sqare and rectangle.
